Jules likes elaborated cocktails but also natural wines. Before, to fulfill these two passions, he had to share. Those days are gone, with the bar that opened in the beginning of the year by Edward, former of the Murano, and Fabien, former of the Prescription.

The concept is user-friendly, marrying in an innovative way, a wine bar (natural of course), with its tapas that rocks (Oh my God the burrata!) and a few homemade dishes prepared by Edouard’s mom, and the very refined cocktail bar.

The bar, with its reduced surface (20 seats), has eclectic customers that is “all of our terroir-wine bar peers who come see us Monday, when we are open and not them, cocktails lovers and many foreigners” tells Edward to Jules. Edward is gifted for the choice of wine and products and Fabien has a rare talent for cocktails, that are presented in a vintage type notebook.
Nuts, whisky “smoked cubes” in winter, tomatoes in summer, rare liquor supplied by small producers, and then a bunch of small surprises: hazelnut roasted in cocoa with blood orange syrup and an excellent calvados, vermouth brewed on-site with some coffee, cocktail that aged in the cellar… and an excellent soundtrack: Jules is addicted!
L’Entrée des Artistes, 8 rue de Crussol, open Monday to Friday, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., Cocktails around €11, dishes 6-€14
