Feeling peckish? Then the butler can prepare something for you to snack on ( a club sandwich, plate of Serrano ham or salmon) and have it ready at your door in less than 30 minutes.
To answer your questions..The Japanese clientele often admire the hotel’s emblem and ask if Jules is the French translation for ‘lips’. The butler takes his time to explain that it is not, but the signature symbol of the hotel that can be found in all the rooms and can even be bought as a design object at Reception.
His little black book? The butler can recommend a bar or restaurant, according to the price, type of cuisine or the ambiance you desire. The butler will guide and take you off the beaten track and will avoid the Parisian clichés and tourist traps to help you discover something unique.
Need a taxi, a map..an iron even? The butler will take care of your order or make sure your requests are delivered to your room.
An unusual Parisian promenade? He can advise and plan out a journey through the strange and unfamiliar areas of Paris and offers you activities along the way.
And our craziest requests? To buy and bring back to camp the stuffed Peacock proudly displayed at the front window, buy perfumes for the interior of the hotel or take a Jules embroidered bathrobe to a cousin bearing the same name.
